Call for College Students Posters

The poster session at the 27th CAST-USA Annual Convention, which will be held on Oct. 5, 2019 in the International House (iHouse) near Columbia University, New York City is specially designed for students at both undergraduate and graduate levels to showcase their research results, to interact with keynote speakers, to network with convention attendees, to exchange ideas and share experience with them.

Students who are interested in this networking and career development opportunity, please submit your poster abstract along with short biography to zxchen@ieee.org before Sept. 23, 2019.

What Your Submission Should Include

Title of the poster

A short biography of the presenter with a head photo

A half-page abstract describing the content of the poster

The names/affiliations and contact information of the corresponding author(s)

The poster review committee will evaluate all submitted posters and notification of acceptance will be sent to the corresponding author by Oct. 1, 2019.

The final standard poster size is 48”w x 36”h. The first author is by default the presenter. If not, the presenter of each poster should be marked by an underline.

All presenters and co-authors will enjoy a forum on the essence of research, humanity and career development. Recruitment agencies are invited. All participants are encouraged to register as CAST-USA Student members free of charge.

What You Will Obtain

Students whose posters are accepted for presentation will receive a free registration to attend the 2019 CAST-USA annual convention. Their posters should be ready in I-House before noon on Oct. 5, 2019. Judges will evaluate posters on-site to select 10 BEST Poster awards. The presenters are expected to explain their research and answer questions. Each awardee will be granted one free ticket to attend the banquet dinner/award ceremony.
